Do you feel that there is too much glamourising in music videos, towards guns and drugs etc? Well I came across one video called 9mm featuring Akon and Lil Wayne, which seemed to disguise the fact they were talking about guns with the use of speakers. Its doesn’t say anything directly, but one line states, “because of the law I had to conceal it.” This must surely be a pun on hiding guns.
There is an explicit version where 9mm is used instead of speakers. I feel that this can’t be a good image to send out as it will obviously influence others.
They could just be talking about speakers and how big they are, but there is a small chance that it is not. What do you think?
Is this type of video harmless or a bad influence?
